The relationship between our hearts and lungs is intimate, and so local composer and musician, Ashley Au, was given special access to Cardiac Sciences to create a site specific piece of choral music

Lens-based artist Charles Romero Venzon, documented staff and physicians over several months performing many tasks in service to people’s hearts – from bed-making to surgery prep.

GBG wanted to celebrate the creativity and hobbies of St. Boniface Hospital’s staff and volunteers so we put out an open call that resulted in a terrifically eclectic exhibition!

“The pluck of water” is a phrase the Irish poet Seamus Heaney used in his poem ‘The Diviner’ to describe the sensation experienced by a man using a fork of hazel wood to detect water hidden underground.

Margaret Glavina leads Art City Drawing Club participants of all ages and abilities on a safari of skill building, spending months focusing on a specific theme or subject matter.

Draw we are together is an exhibition based on the short film “Don’t Let the Sun Catch You Crying,” created by Natalie Baird and Toby Gillies and produced by the National Film Board of Canada.
